Ann Hanson is a multi-talented visual artist, who possesses an uncanny understanding of the energy of movement and the magic of Nature. She first began creating and exhibiting her art more than two decades ago. Originally from Washington, D.C., she is best known for her whimsical dancing animal sculptures, one of which is in the collection of the National Museum of Women in the Arts and private collectors worldwide. Before moving to Upstate NY, she lived in NYC for six years, where she studied singing, performance and animation, as her awareness grew that there was a larger song and dance behind her art that she needs to express.
